This Privacy Policy describes how Lodgest ("Lodgest," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Lodgest accounting integration application (the "App"), which connects to QuickBooks Online through the Intuit Developer platform.
The App is an internal financial-operations tool used by Lodgest to automate and audit its property-management bookkeeping. It connects to the Lodgest QuickBooks Online company with the account owner's authorization.
With your authorization through Intuit's OAuth flow, the App accesses QuickBooks Online accounting data, which may include transactions, invoices and estimates, customers and vendors, chart-of-accounts and class information, attachments and receipts, and payments data. The App may also process related receipts and bank/payment notifications supplied to it.
We use the information solely to operate Lodgest's accounting: reviewing transaction categorization, matching receipts to transactions, reconciling invoices and payments, and producing internal reports and audit records. We do not use this information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
OAuth tokens and credentials are held in a secured secrets vault and are never written into code, logs, or shared messages. Accounting data is kept in access-controlled systems, limited to authorized Lodgest personnel. Data in transit is protected with industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the App (for example, cloud hosting and storage), and only as required to comply with applicable law.
We retain information only as long as needed for Lodgest's accounting and audit purposes and to meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of data associated with your account, subject to those obligations.
You may disconnect the App from QuickBooks Online at any time through your Intuit account, which revokes the App's access to your data going forward.
Our access to and use of information received through the Intuit and QuickBooks APIs adheres to the Intuit Developer terms of service and applicable data-protection requirements. Lodgest is an independent company and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Intuit Inc.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
